Netball Competition

Well Done to our Netball Team!

A big well done to our school netball team who took part in a competition on Monday afternoon. Despite the freezing conditions, the children competed strongly and didn't lose one match during the competition, finishing fourth out of twelve schools.

A fantastic result!!

Spring in Foundation Stage

Spring in Foundation Stage

Spring arrived in Foundation Stage on Friday morning with the arrival of 12 chicken eggs. The children have carefully put them into an incubator to see if they can hatch some springtime chicks. There also had a visit from Helen and two of her chickens during the morning. The children really enjoyed watching the chickens and stroking them carefully.

A big thank you to Mr Harris for lending us an incubator and to Mrs Sullivan who has been our official 'egg turner' this weekend.

We will keep you updated about the progress of the eggs.

Rowing Team

Well done to the Year 5 and 6 children who took part in a Rugby Schools rowing competition on Friday afternoon at Harris High School. We didn't win but all the children took part with real enthusiasm and commitment!
